During her brief campaign to be leader Andrea Leadsom pledged to repeal the foxhunting ban to bring back a much loved Tory sport. She clearly expects criticism on the subject which is why she’s come up with an excuse to bring it back. She said there was a “need to exterminate vermin”. Something to think about there.

Country people are not concerned with the the small set who hunt.They want schools,amenities,connectivity.They see them only on village green or lawn meets,or are beholden to them and have to side with them if they are tennant farmers,or for social acceptance.Time these outdated idiots were treated like the cruel hangovers from the past they are,Strengthen the anti hunting act!This is backwardness with no place in these times.
