Prevent Further Abuse of UK Citizens and Implement United Nations Recommendations

As you know the United Nations had been investigating the UK Government for systemic abuses of sick, disabled and other vulnerable people.  It provided 11 recommendations for the UK Government to adhere to but the Tories have refused to implement them.  Read their report in full here.

A petition has been launched to try and make the Tories implement those 11 recommendations. The reality is vulnerable people are living in fear of the UK Government as Ken Loach describes here.

Implement the 11 United Nations recommendations to prevent abuse of UK citizens

The United Nations carried out an Inquiry against the UK under article 6 of the Optional Protocol to the Convention and made 11 recommendations to the UK Government. This petition is for the UK Government to implement those 11 recommendations.

The United Nations recommendations can be found in their report here: http://d.pr/f/dob2

You are so right but there is a massive problem in getting the government to acknowledge there is a problem. It seems it’s easier to penalise the vulnerable while the wealthy get away with evading their rightful taxes.
