Ever since 2010 David Cameron & Theresa May have been trying to come up with a way to silence anyone they don’t agree with. So far they’ve brought out the gagging law, the policing law and the new snooping law.
However they’ve decided these laws don’t go far enough to silence anyone who disagrees with them. In order to combat that they’ve written draft after draft of a new bill titled “The counter-extremism bill”. Of course like other bills they disguise their true intentions by using terrorists as an excuse to bring it in. The trouble is they’re running into difficulty in defining ‘extremism’. In its current form the bill would effectively ban the Tory party because their definition of ‘extremism’ is so wide. They cannot legally define it as ‘anyone they disagree with’because the courts would refuse it.
