When a Government talks about wanting to exit the ECHR then you really should take your heads out of the sand and listen not to the politicians but to the people who tell you the implications. A country with a Government free to make up its own laws is totalitarian. Don’t for one moment believe the words of a politician who tells you it’s for your own safety.
